A.Berlin
THINK BIG. Even on the small stuff. When asked to redefine the online presence of one of America's most accomplished — and least known — business leaders, we didn't just build a website. We built a manifesto.

Project
Who in the world is Andrew Berlin? That was exactly my first thought when this project landed on my desk — and it turned out to be the most important question we could ask.
Andrew Berlin is the CEO of Berlin Packaging and part owner of the Chicago Cubs. But that barely scratches the surface. He is also a down-to-earth family man, a philanthropist, a thought leader, and a deeply grounded leader with an exceptional record of success. The problem? When people searched for him online, they didn't find any of that. Our job was to change it.
The assignment was a complete reimagination of andrewberlin.com — a full site redesign, copywriting, development, and a thorough audit of existing assets including podcasts, videos, and press — all designed to introduce the world to the real Andrew Berlin. The target audience was serious: investors, board members, acquisition targets, government officials, industry leaders, and philanthropic partners. The experience needed to match.
I presented three fully developed concepts directly to Andrew, one-on-one. Each concept featured a unique experiential component alongside a traditional navigation option, and each was presented with a complete package including the big idea, user journey explanation, high-level content outline, user flow thumbnails, and full page designs.
He chose the concept I called The Berlin Manifesto.
Bold, high-concept, and deeply personal — The Berlin Manifesto brings Andrew's philosophical approach to business, family, philanthropy, and life to the forefront. A written manifesto is deconstructed into powerful key phrases and presented through striking visuals. Users can read it sequentially, experiencing Andrew's story as it was meant to be told, or dive deeper into supporting content — videos, podcasts, and more — that bring each idea to life.
Upon arriving at the homepage, visitors are greeted with a single, arresting phrase:
"I have always believed that anything is possible."
From there, the journey is theirs to choose.
Process
This project demanded a rare combination of strategic thinking, creative confidence, and personal sensitivity. Understanding Andrew Berlin as a person — his values, his voice, his story — was just as important as the design itself. The discovery phase involved a deep audit of all existing assets and a thorough competitive review of how other high-profile executives present themselves online.
From there, I developed three fully realized concepts — each with its own distinct creative vision, user experience strategy, and content framework. Presenting these directly to the client one-on-one required not just creative conviction but the ability to clearly articulate the strategic rationale behind every decision. Design systems, content hierarchies, and user flow architecture were developed in parallel to ensure that whichever concept was chosen, we were ready to move immediately.
The chosen direction — The Berlin Manifesto — required a meticulous balance of bold design and editorial precision. Every phrase, every visual, every interaction was crafted to feel intentional, authentic, and true to who Andrew Berlin really is.
